I went on a cruise to Alaska with my elderly father, and on the tour we visited this totem pole in Ketchikan. I stayed for another month after the cruise, wandering around the coastal part of the state on ferry boats, and ended up back in Ketchikan where I saw this totem pole several more times. I finally read the legend, and found that the figure was Fogwoman. Since my last name is Fogg, I figured she was my alter-ego.
